Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I love the options. I am not big on boba, but I love the star jelly you can get in your drink and I love the flavor options

Watered down taro milk tea, very disappointed that I spent $8 on this . I used to like Gong cha but not anymore. I would recommend the other places in the food court instead

Very upset that they started shutting down early and refused to serve me 30 minutes before close. Iβd driven out just to grab boba tea from here due to the larger sizes. Thankfully the ladies at the Kokee Tea in the food court were much nicer and willing to actually do their jobs.

We were in line to order boba and one of the girls told us to order it on the screen. We completed our order and the screen froze, we waited a minute and nothing happened. We told one of the workers, she looked at us and said nothing. We waited another minute and the screen was still frozen we let the worker know again and she just sighed and told her coeworker. Her coworker just shrugged and they ignored us and kept making other peoples orders. We stood there for literally about 5 minutes. We got out of the line and the next person asked them if their system was down. They looked at the screen and said βohβ and started taking other peopleβs orders while ignoring us. They charged the boba I ordered but I never got the order. They are SO RUDE.
